WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WORKING FOR KOTA LONGBOARDS?
“Working and learning a new skill has played a major roll towards my recovery and transition from military to civilian life. I’m also happy that KOTA is actively involved in the veteran community in Denver!”
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT KOTA LONGBOARDS?
“I primarily focus on the wood side of production. I never thought I’d like working with wood, but I love it! I take the thin pieces of veneer laminate and shape them into the start of a KOTA Longboard. I like being a part of a team and help out my colleagues if they need assistance in their areas, as our product goes through production.
WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
“Northwest Denver. ”
WHICH BRANCH OF THE MILITARY DID YOU SERVE IN?
“I served in the US ARMY, 4th ID, I was stationed at Ft Carson from 2002-2007 including two mobilizations to Iraq. Then finishing out my time in Baumholder, Germany with the 1st Armour Division from 2007-2010, where I returned to Iraq for a third tour.”
WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST ROCK CONCERT?
“I would have to say the very 1st concert I remember going to was Smokey Robinson, with my mom on the 4th of July, when I was a child.”
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE KOTA LONGBOARDS DESIGN?
“The Pin Up Girl Edition.”
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE?
“I would have to say Good Fellas has to be pretty close to my favorite.”
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?
“I like to spend time participating and volunteering with numerous veteran organizations. To me its like hanging out with my friends doing fun stuff and helping those that need it to come along on the adventure. I work with Team Rubicon and Adaptive Adventures the most.”
